Come along to our meetups to improve your art in a relaxed and social atmosphere and under the guidance of a professional instructor. Complete beginners to experienced artists all welcome.

Our 2 hour meetups are held in a different location each time, usually outdoors.

Bring your own materials. If you are a complete beginner all you need to start is a set of watercolour paints, brushes, and water container.

Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced artists. The instructor is there to help everyone.

The meeting point and full details for the day are sent in the booking confirmation email to the email address you provide at time of booking.

Brittany is a Brisbane-based artist and educator who loves helping people reconnect with creativity through mindful, playful watercolour. Her workshops focus on slowing down, exploring colour and pattern, and finding joy in the process rather than striving for perfection.

With a background in Visual Art, Art History and Teaching, Brittany combines her experience in art education with a gentle, restorative approach that encourages curiosity and self-expression. Title or Location: Converse Shoes
I painted these shoes as they were the style of shoes I wore as a teenager. I used two colours for the painting (French ultramarine and Burnt Sienna). I chose those colours so that I could make my own blues, greys, browns and black. I also chose French ultramarine for the main part of the shoes for its granulation and to achieve a textured look. I used masking fluid on the laces and eyelets to preserve the white paper and so I didn?t have to paint around them. I did dry brush work on the soles
